The Oneida Indian Nation's Turning Stone Resort and Casino offers the ideal destination getaway for the seasoned traveler, business professional, golf fanatic, entertainment-seeker or spa connoisseur. Located in scenic Central New York State, within a morning's drive of most major Northeast cities, the 3,400-acre resort is just 35 miles from Syracuse and its international airport. Comfort and luxury are hallmarks of the lodging choices among the resorts 709 guest rooms. AAA Four Diamond honors have been earned for The Lodge, and all-suite hotel also recognized as the "Most Excellent Golf Resort" in the USA and Canada by Conde Nast Johansen's, and the 21-floor Tower Hotel, with its sweeping countryside views. The Villages at Turning Stone, a short distance from the casino, is among the highest rated RV parks on the East Coast. Turning Stone leaves no appetite unsatisfied with 21 distinct food and beverage venues from fine dining at the AAA Four Diamond award winner, Wildflowers, to a classic steakhouse (providing panoramic views from the top of the Tower), as well as Asian, Italian, and barbecue themed restaurants, and a wide variety of casual eateries, too. This premier golf destination features five courses (three 18-hole and two 9-hole layouts) with designs by Tom Fazio, Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Rick Smith - an indoor golf training center and instructional programs. Turning Stone was recently listed as one of the "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America" by Golf Digest, and is the only New York resort with three of Golf week's "Best Courses You Can Play in New York State." Other amenities include two spas - Skana, named one of the "Top 100 Spas of 2011" by Spas of America, and Ahsi Day Spa and Salon. Offering more than 100,000 square feet of versatile meeting space, Turning Stone is an appropriate setting for private executive board meetings for 10 as well as conventions for 3,000. The resort's Event Center, at 29,380 square feet provides 26 room configurations for groups of 10 to 900. Turning Stone is known throughout the region for its lively casino and exciting entertainment venues.
