Within the Catskill Forest Preserve, visitors have been coming to the Hamlet of De Bruce, enjoying its woods, streams, wildlife and hospitality since the 1890's. It is here, at the confluence of the Willowemoc and Mongaup Creeks, that George LaBranche made history when he cast the first dry fly in America and gave us the "Pink Lady" fly....and the cocktail of the same name. Today we can enjoy the same gifts of nature and old-fashioned hospitality and share the fresh produce as well as chicken and duck eggs from our farms and gardens, where our free range chickens and grass fed Angus cattle enjoy the beauty and bounty of the Wild Willowemoc Valley.
